Air Duct Cleaning Growth is an independent publication for people who own air duct and dryer vent cleaning companies and want a fuller schedule without signing a marketing contract on faith.

Who writes it

Steven Von is the editor. He has spent years running growth campaigns for local service businesses, air duct and dryer vent cleaners among them, and has read enough homeowner reviews that begin with "the ad said $49" to know what this trade is up against. He writes or edits every page on the site. There is no content team and nothing is generated and published unread.

Where the benchmark numbers come from

The benchmark report is built from public Google Business Profile listings. Once a month we search Google Maps for air duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning services in every US state, collect the public fields on each listing (review count, star rating, website link, hours, categories, city and state), remove duplicate places, and compute the figures you see. Nothing comes from behind a login. No reviewer names or personal data are stored.

The current pull holds 9,915 listings across 51 states. At that scale a few listings are miscategorized or stale, so treat each figure as accurate to within a point or two rather than to the decimal. The headline numbers hold up: the median company has 9 reviews, 35.1% list no website, and 31.6% have not even listed hours.

Editorial rules

  • No pay-to-play. No company, product or lead service can buy a mention, a ranking or a kind word here.
  • Every number is sourced to our dataset or to a primary source such as Google's own help pages. When something is an opinion, it is labeled as one.
  • Prices in the guides are ranges drawn from real quotes in real markets, never a single figure presented as the rule.
  • No invented case studies. If a result is described, it is described as an example of the math, not as a client outcome.
  • Guides are written for an owner who is in a crawlspace by nine and doing invoices at nine at night. If a step cannot be done in a short evening or handed to an office person, it does not go in.
  • Pages are revised when Google, Meta or the AI answer engines change something that matters. The date on each guide is the last substantive edit.

How the free 14-day trial works

Pick any one service on this site: Google Ads, Meta ads, AI search optimization, local SEO and your Google profile, a website, social media, review generation, missed-call text-back, email and SMS, bookkeeping, cold-call appointment setting, or reporting. We set it up and run it for 14 days at no charge. There is no card on file and nothing renews. At the end you see the numbers and choose to continue at the monthly price quoted before the trial started, switch services, or stop.

The trial exists because duct cleaners are sold to constantly and shown proof almost never. Owners should see the schedule move before they pay for anything. Text or call (385) 486-5536 to start, or read the FAQ first.
