Email and SMS campaigns for a air duct cleaning company
A duct cleaner's past customer list is the most underused asset in the trade. Dryer vents need cleaning every year and ducts every three to five, and almost nobody reminds the customer. A text to 800 past customers in January offering a dryer vent cleaning at the regular price books 3% to 6% of them: 25 to 50 jobs in the slowest month, with a share adding the whole-house package once the crew is there.
The campaigns are few and plain. The annual dryer vent reminder. The three-year whole-house reminder. A pre-allergy note in March and a pre-furnace note in September, each with a before-and-after photo and the price. A price-increase notice in February that gets bookings before the date. No newsletters, no coupons.
After two weeks, working means the list is cleaned and loaded, reminders are scheduled by job date, and the first seasonal send has gone out.
